We used two online questionnaires with identical content for internal as well as external stakeholders. Our first question in both questionnaires involved the relevance of sustainability. If this subject was classi- fied as relevant, question then followed on the impact on people and the environment. This two-step procedure was selected to precisely identify the potential effects of issues with substantial relevance for people and the environment. Issues rated highly significant for both relevance and impact were ranked appropriately higher in the materiality analysis. The effects of EHL that were seen as particularly strong point us to opportunities and potential disad- vantages for people or the environment. That helps us to proactively prevent threats and speed up improve- ments. In total, our surveys reached 493 internal and external stakeholders – and ended with an impressive net response rate of 38.1 % for fully completed question- naires.
