SPECIAL FEATURES OF DISTRICT Penzing ranks third amongst Vienna’s districts at around sixty-one percent green spaces and recreational areas. This is largely due to the Wienerwald hills, an area now mostly comprising a UNESCO Biosphere Park, which extends deep into the district; the Steinhofgründe are another recreational area of outstanding natural beauty with a spellbinding view of the whole city.
